Apeiron Baroque: Too Many Strings

20th July 2023 2pm

Apeiron Baroque makes an appearance at Goodwin Ainslie in a concert exclusively for the residents. Our team from "Trios for 4" make another appearance in a programme that spans the breadth of the entire baroque period, from early Italian sonatas through to CPE Bach! Featured pieces include the ever enjoyable "Animal" Sonata, a baroque "pop song" stolen from the gamba repertoire, another song where we dump the singer, and a piece by Pachelbel that isn't the Canon (which also subjects the two violins to some pretty heavy mistunings!).
